For those who appreciate what 99% cocoa means on a bar of chocolate.. It means there is not enough sugar! The dark chocolate with Earl Grey bar next to it was nothing less than superb.
So me and Tiff finally found a reason to lay hands on the bar of Michel Cluizel Noir Infini 99% we’d been saving up to celebrate general madness all round. It was 3pm in the office and we needed a sugar fix. Excited little buggers us, We took pictures of it before we opened the wrapper. We took pictures of it with the foil ripped off. We took a bite. And the excitement ended there when the chocolate hit our taste buds like a ton of bricks on hyperdrive.
Me: “OMG..”
(Stunned silence while we stared at each other in disbelief)
Tiff: “I guess if its 99% cocoa there isn’t much space for milk and sugar…”
Me: “Yeah, let’s max out at 70%…”
We drowned our disappointment in a yummy box of Haigh’s truffles instead.
