It’s hard to believe the year has passed so fast. Only 99 more days til Christmas, and the last one is still pretty fresh in my mind..
Am not sure how I will be spending this one. I have plans to travel, but there are so many places I could go and I can’t seem to decide. I have plans to hit Europe mid year, so nothing big in December. Flights to the US West coast are so cheap right now, but I’m still putting off LA and SF, especially after a conversation with my friend in LA I’ve decided to hit up Blizzcon next year! It is rather geeky, but C has managed to tempt me with promise of a geek tour – haha! I love conventions! Plus, it’s Winter over there in Dec.. I should decide soon though, it will get hard to book stuff.
I’ve forgotten to mention I adopted a cat. He’s an adorable six year old Abyssinian boy called Ruski. I’ve had him for two months now – it’s really nice having him around except I am a clean freak and he’s shedding on pretty much everything! But he is super manja and wakes me up in the mornings by sitting on me. I’m slowly fine tuning his wake up call by adjusting his feed at night.. not really a fan of 6am mornings! And I totally lucked out with him because he’s got a really good nature. I gave him a bath last weekend and he pretty much resigned himself to it. I’ve never heard him hiss and he even sits still when I trim his claws.
Anyway, this is him:

Also, time to whip out that Christmas shopping list again. So soon, ah.

Nice cat! I’ll be in the feline owners club starting this Saturday too! I miss kittens, I’ve always been more of a cat person than a dog person. :)
Oh, and those nifty lint removers should be standard issue for all cat owners.
Hey that’s cool. I love dogs too, but cats are easier in apartments. I do have a lint remover, but it’s getting warm and he’s shedding his undercoat so gg carpet! ;)
So cute! And you are so lucky to get a non-jumpy cat! Cats are so much lower maintenance than a dog. And clean, so clean except the shedding bit.
Yeah, very lucky! I took him to the vet yesterday and he was so well behaved, full body check, three shots and a thermometer reading, didn’t even try to run away o_O
