When I woke up the skies were gray and it was raining.
I almost went straight back to sleep. But the thought of missing out on bean curd rolls and mango pudding made me brave the cold. Food is such motivation.
After yumcha at our regular, we decided to take a drive somewhere. Anywhere. I can’t tell you how much fun it is being able to drive around again.
We ended up at South Head and it was fabulous.
The views were stunning and the rain made it better.
We took shelter in an unfinished structure that looks out over the cliffs and out onto the Pacific. A few minutes later, a rainbow appeared.
This picture of N is one of my favourite pictures I’ve taken so far on the G11. Completely untouched, just before sundown. I think I’m getting better at this picture-taking business :)
And here is my attempt of taking my first panorama:
Despite being drenched and cold, I couldn’t have asked for a better day.
And then, the boys took me out for Peking Duck! Bliss!
