I spent my weekend at the Gold Coast with some friends in a haze of adrenaline and sunshine. Kind of wishing it were longer – it already feels like it happened ages ago!
We hit Dream World with a mission: to hit up as many rides as possible.. starting with the Giant Drop. I haven’t had this much fun in an amusement park since, well, the last time I was here when I was 12? 14? I barely remember. And S found this awesome gadget called Q4U which virtually holds your place in the queue while you do other stuff. It was the best $7 I spent that weekend!
In the end, only N and I went for the last remaining ride of the ‘Big 6′ – The Claw:

We also had time to have a game of laser tag, possibly more awesome than paintball.
It was a brilliant weekend up at the coast. I think I’m gonna plan a Summer further up the coast just to hang out on the beach and be a bum for a week.
Looking forward to the coming weekend – Miss T is dropping in on me and we’re really looking forward to catching up over some beers!

And implanted my friend’s fingernails into my lower arm forevermore.
Bahaha. Yeah it was helluva first ride. One of my mates got into the chair, thought about it and walked off!
