January

Some pictures from my month. There are always a lot of things going on in January here – mostly a part of the Sydney Festival, but also plenty of other food, music, art and design events all around the city. I only wish we had more beach weather! The last image is my submission to the ACP gallery, it’s hanging up as part of the Term 4 Student Show until the 5th of Feb!

Atalanta Weller FW11

Some stunning new wedges from British designer Atalanta Weller, part of her FW11 collection which is only her fourth season.. so hard to believe! The mix of textures and colours are so rich and luxe and am really head over heels for the cognac bootie with the gold scales on the wedge.. oh my..

Jennifer Collier

British artist Jennifer Collier produces her artwork by treating paper as fabric and stitching together a variety of different prints and textures to recreate everyday objects. She has an amazing eye for form and narrative as the paper itself lends its own story to her art.

The man who brought us the octopus chair (bottom image) as part of a series of limited edition animal chairs has added two new animals to the collection – the walrus and the rhino. I’m not sure about you but I absolutely love them!
