Pictures from lunch at District Dining with the crew. The food there is excellent – best I’ve had in Sydney a while. Service was impeccable and the desserts are tops. I love finding awesome new places to blog about!
Highly recommended: the crispy school prawns with lime mayonnaise, my personal fave – steak tartare, duck confit, the parmesan gnocchi, and the chocolate mousse was divineeee…

As the weather warms up our weekends have been getting busier and busier! I love the second half of the year, it’s almost October and 2011 has gone really quickly..
Here are some pictures from last Sunday’s lunch at Siti’s new place – she made chili crabs! More than 60 bird’s eye chili went into the whole dish (that picture above is barely half of it!) which had to be cooked in three batches..

Lunching in the Winter sun – almost feels like Summer already! I can’t believe it’s almost September already.
My parents have just left after being here for over a month. It was great hanging out with them and I wish I had more time off but my leave is all used up for the year. We had time for a short road trip, over dad’s birthday weekend earlier this month and I think he’s planning a bigger one for next year. I’ve been debating where to go next and some part of me really wants to go back to Greece and spend more time there. Is that what the Aegean does to you? I think my heart skips a beat every time I see a place I recognise. But there are still so many more things I want to cross off my bucket list..
My cousins are visiting next weekend. I seem have had a steady stream of visitors all this year! I really need a bigger space and we will be looking for one very soon which I’m quite excited about. Have some pictures from the weekend’s Saturday in Design event that W and I checked out, then an impromptu dinner that involved two guitars and some bongos (and food). I finally got to watch all the True Blood episodes that I’ve been holding off during my parent’s stay (I can’t imagine what mum would say about vampire sex) and lots of lazing about – my weekend has been really good!
