Some pictures from last weekend’s walk from Neilsen Bay to Milk Beach on the Hermitage Foreshore track. Milk Beach is a tiny beach that looks over back to the city and Shark Island – a great little spot at the back of Strickland House. It was such a lovely day ;)
Next stop, Athens. Totally excited, though much as am looking forward to crossing one more thing off my travel list, I know I’m also looking forward to being back in Sydney with my man..

I love spending my weekends with my man W; when the sun is out we’d go exploring some of Sydney’s lesser-known beaches like this one that we went to last weekend. There are so many small little beaches around that I wonder if I’ll ever get to see them all! Parsley Bay Reserve is a largely local spot, sandwiched between Vaucluse Bay and the more popular Watsons Bay in Sydney’s inner east. We wandered around and took a ton of pictures and I had a rainbow Paddle Pop that reminded me of when I was a kid – I used to love them (and still do!).
This weekend we were blessed with gorgeous weather again, and did a little more exploring. Hoping the weather in Europe warms up a little before I get there. I am trying to escape the cold here but it looks like it’s just as cold over there. What gives?

A panorama I took when W and I were at Nelson Bay last month. Took a while to stitch as Photoshop didn’t like the similar islands in the back and thinks they are one!
The weather wasn’t very nice when we were up there. It was actually raining when we got to the beach but cleared up when we got to the spit. It turned out to be pretty nice after all – we took a ton of pictures and climbed up the sand dunes. I went knee high in the water and lost a thong, and strangely enough the sea threw it back up on the beach when we headed back so I didn’t have to buy another pair. But I ended up buying another pair anyway, they broke two weeks ago!
Hope you had a lovely Easter; I spent most of mine playing video games and lazing about.

In a little laneway in the heart of East Sydney lies this amazing little wine bar, Love Tilly Devine – caught up with Ray and Julie for dinner there last week and loved it.. it’s more of a wine bar than a restaurant so don’t expect a substantial food menu. The oysters were fabulous and I really loved the proscuitto with figs and gorgeous buffalo mozzarella.

We’ve been wanting to go to Italian institution Beppi’s for as long as I can remember. Today we finally made it there!
Dinner was good; the food was not overly fancy, just great classic seasonal flavours on a plate!
