Anish Kapoor at the MCA

Here are some photos I took at the last day of the Anish Kapoor exhibition. Hope my documentation serves somewhat as weekend inspiration ;) I love how his work makes you question your perception of space and time. Truth be told I was only fleetingly aware of his work before the show came to Sydney in December and I’m so glad I went, not once but twice, to familiarise myself with his amazing scope of work. I must have spent a good few hours trying to figure out the sheer logistics of some of his pieces.

Enjoy your weekend! x

Lovely photos - looks like there are some really interesting pieces! They put a nice twist on the photos too :)

Your tip about the PP is a good one - I just worry it would be too big, like the mini too small and the PP too large, haha. My friend has one I’m tempted to ask her if I can borrow it…..

Hope you have a great weekend :)

I’m a big fan of his pieces too & was the same, I didn’t really know much about him until I accidentally stumbled upon some of his pieces on display at the Tate in London many years ago, I spent ages just staring at them & walking around them. As you said, it’s really fascinating the way they challenge your perception of space and time, it’s hard to describe & to fully appreciate them if you’ve not seen them in person yourself I think.
Also, I’ve said it before, but that hat really suits you! :)
