Smitten with this black maxi dress - you know I have a thing for those :) I couldn’t resist the playful twist with the colourful border print at the hem - what a great way to punctuate an otherwise understated dress. And the volume! Perfect balance of swishiness and weight. It seems lately every time I try to take photos for the blog the wind starts picking up but kind of works in this dresses’ favour though, right?

    Love it on you! And especially with the hat. These kind of dresses totally drown me but if I could, I would. And in some of the pics, it looks like a regular knee length dress but then you realise there is more to come. I particularly love the last photo.

    I love the light in these photos so much! It seems like we never get that kind of pretty, hazy, sunny glow here. You can never have too many maxi dresses, and the print on the hem of this is so fun & unexpected! Has your hair been cut? It looks different, but I don’t know if it’s just the light? Love this hat on you too by the way :)
