No zombies sighted

Was a bit crazy this morning - am sure it has made international news by now but anyway this morning the sky was a blazing red because of a dust storm that came through at dawn… which slowly faded to yellow by about 10am and is now a moody gray/white cloud. At least it is slowly dissipating - I can now see some of the city skyline from my office!

Kind of reminds me of how it was like in KL whenever the Sumatran forest fires were on, except less humid and this isn’t exactly smog, just looks like it.. and for once I wish I had one of those face mask things. How bad is it? My black shiny patent wedges had a decent layer of dust on it after walking for 5 minutes.. and my watch yielded some residual dust on my office desk on impact.. o.O

I’ve just learnt that the dust storm that took Sydney by.. er, storm.. this morning is in the process of moving up North to Queensland. Aww. But at least it’s safe to go out for lunch now.. I think!
