Here are some pictures from the Basement Jaxx gig in KL I went to earlier this month. Though I wasn’t the biggest Jaxx fan (unlike Muna!) it was nice that the music and the company were familiar - it was really nice seeing the people I used to go out with regularly in KL, and the old (and new) JUICE crew! I actually don’t remember the last time I was at a club event - I haven’t been clubbing at all in Sydney. Much prefer bars and lounges these days, probably a sign I’m getting older :)
So nice seeing these girls again. That’s the funny thing about working at Catcha, I miss the people more than the job.. not that there was anything wrong with the job! Long after leaving the place I still try my best to keep in touch with the people I used to see every day and it’s not much of a chore because they are such amazing people and I miss them dearly.
In other news, my landlord is going to sell my apartment and I am more than tempted to buy it. Can’t believe I used to balk at RM400k apartments in KL when I was working there - real estate in Sydney is so much more expensive! Just got back from a dinner with Jo, we’re going to view a few places this weekend and I’m a little bit excited. It’s probably time I had a mortgage like everyone else :P

i haven’t been partying much. tend to favour bars more these days :)
