My African springbok skull has arrived! It’s a perfect size - I’m pretty happy with it :)
I wasn’t sure if my skull would actually get here since Australian customs and quarantine laws are pretty strict. The guy I bought this from in South Africa has done a really good job with processing it and packing it to be shipped here. Quarantine did open it for inspection but it arrived unharmed. If anyone’s interested drop me a note and I’ll let you know how to find him.
I just placed an order for some Swarovski flatback crystal rhinestones and can’t wait to get started!

That is perfect and awesome :)
why did an animal have to die so its skull can sit in your living room?
Hi LB
Springboks are not endangered in any way. In fact they are one of the few antelope species that are growing in population, and are so common that people in South Africa (where this skull was from) often hunt them for food and they are served in some restaurants there as a local delicacy..
.. so rest assured the animal did not die for the purpose of being hung on my wall :)
