Snowflake!

On one of my trips to KL last year I went to T&C to replace a necklace I always wore. It was a gift fom an ex, and though it wasn’t symbolic and we remain friends I felt it was time to put that aside. I hardly ever buy myself any jewellery but I decided to indulge and left with not one but two blue boxes.

(I still remember my very first blue box; it was a bracelet from M for my 18th - you have ruined me forever and I love you for that!)

Earlier this week I found the second box and was stupidly excited. I didn’t exactly lose it, but since I never take my necklace off buying another pendant wasn’t exactly the best idea. Eventually I forgot about it until a closet clean out brought it back to me. In it was a pendant in the shape of a snowflake. I’ve got it on now, and the boy has added another nickname for me to his embarrassingly large collection.

I plan to do a huge closet clean out soon and put a bunch of stuff up on eBay. I have a pile sitting in a box waiting to be photographed and written up - it’s actually a lot more work than it looks! Will have to put one day aside for it. Am not going to send these things to the consignment store again where (for the butler service I used last time) they took 50% of final sale proceeds - not great when a $600 Marc Jacobs dress you only wore twice sells for $220 and you only get $110 back. However it’s great to shop at these places; found some Sergio Rossi SS/09 sandals for $50!
