Some looks that I’ve been inspired by lately, especially now that it’s getting warmer in Sydney. We had the most amazing preview of Spring just this weekend with a sunny 22c day so it’s hard to believe it’s actually still Winter. I love the fact most of these look so effortless, but more importantly really accessible and easy to recreate with some of the most basic wardrobe staples. And of course it’s all in the details – a silver longline zip, a flash of lace, carefully folded sleeves, perfectly scuffed boots.. ;) Hope you’ve had a good weekend too!

I have to admit to loving layers…. They are so versatile and frankly perfect for the undecided Melbourne weather! NYC temperatures are much easier to dress for as they are pretty consistent…
I totally agree, the Sydney Skyshow is spectacular (much more so than the NYC version). Thanks so much for stopping by - its lovely to have found you!
Thanks sweetie, you are amazing! The looks you chose are great! So inspired :)) I thought it warmed up in Melbourne too, but as always, the weather here is totally unpredictable!

LOVE this post! I’m saving all of these pictures under my inspiration folder - thanks for posting :)
Can’t think of layers here, in this unbelievable heat. But I know in Australia it’s already winter, and layering is crucial when you have to deal with the cold!

I love all the choices you showed. I love wearing layers, I can’t wait until it cools off some so I can start to wear layers here, too.
layers are so cool but deceptively hard to style! the first pic is definitely my fav.

Oh, so many great looks & so many great leather jackets too! Every single one of them is just perfect, models always do this type of look so well… Freja is my favourite though, but I may be a just a bit biased, as I absolutely adore her! :)

These girls are all so stylish, in a very casual, laizzeh faire sort of way. I can see why they’re a bit of an inspiration! Save a few myself haha.

Thank you for the inspiration. I learned the hard way when I got to the UK. Never had to layer my outfits until I got here!

Layering is a favourite styling, especially in the fall/winter months: I like to play with lenght and textures, with colours and oversized pieces. Still looking for summer in Belgium, but tomorrow my summer holidays officially start woth a trip to sunny Italy!
