This kind of outfit has become a bit of a uniform of late; so easy to throw on and everything goes with black :) In love with these Baxter jeans that I bought at the recent Topshop sale. It was discounted down to something silly like £15 with free shipping, so the decision came easy. It’s a pretty shade that reminds me of school for the rather random reason that some of my classmates would come in with blue-tinged shirts instead of a white one due to overzealous use of blue-tint fabric optical brighteners. Does this happen outside of Malaysia (where I went to school)?

Love this look and I am not really sure what is optical brightener for clothing? In the US we have fabric softener..but brightener aside from bleach? Not sure.
it’s a blue-tint wash to combat whites from getting yellow, kind of works the same way as a hair toner.. overuse makes stuff go blue (hence ‘blue rinse grannies’) :)

This is beautiful! That jacket is amazing, great find, I’m super jealous! One day I will own an authentic Rick Owens leather jacket, when I can finally save up enough & not feel guilty forking it over that is! Hah! Till then I think I’ll carry on scouring eBay! ;)
Yes, we have optical brighteners here in the UK too & I too remember that! I still use them sometimes on greying lingerie, but have yet to have anything turn blue so I guess the formulas have improved since!

Hey love, you should check out myhabit (the amazon site) — saw some RO drkshdw / lilies for fall on there this morning. They occasionally have main line also ;) But yes, I feel totally guilty about forking over so much $ for a jacket! This isn’t RO but an ‘inspired’ version - the front collar has the same look but it doesn’t have pockets, and has zips all around the shoulders and back.. just too bad it’s not leather ;)
