Finally back after a whirlwind trip to Kuala Lumpur, mostly spending time with my parents, but managed to get some shopping in and catch up with a few friends. Before I knew it I was back in Sydney catching the last rays of a lovely Sunday afternoon spent with W’s family here. These newly discovered Uniqlo leggings are now permanently part of my “plane outfit” essentials. I can’t believe I’d ever be raving about a pair of ‘jeggings’ but these fit well and are incredibly comfortable. I’m off to catch up on some much-needed sleep, more soon! x

So glad you had a lovely time! Look forward to hearing (seeing?!) more about it!
Love the sweater here & that tiny spiked bracelet! I know exactly what you mean about jeggings, when they first appeared I thought they were gross, then I tried a pair on & totally changed my mind! Though, I do still reserve them for slobbing around the house or comfort days, but the pairs I have are all kinda cheap & not brilliant fits, so I wouldn’t feel right wearing them out of the house!

I think it depends on the material and cut, these ones have kind of like a denim weave finish and is a bit heavier than jersey so it doesn’t look like a pair of tights. I do love slobbing around the house in these though!
You look nice! Cool sandals and I cannot believe you got the Pandora!! Is that the large or medium?
I know, your fault :) There wasn’t much of a difference between the medium and large so I went for the bigger one. The newer ones have a zip instead of the flap which I prefer and some places still stock them (like the one I linked above)
Hehe, soz! (But not really.)
i’m a leggings and sweater girl too!!! glad you had a great trip. i enjoyed looking at your photos on instagram. that is a SHARP bag! love it! have a great week!

Love the outfit. The sandals have interesting cut and I love the bag!!! Is it easy-to-use while traveling for example? I’d love to have the same one.

Hey Kate, I travelled a week with this and it was great. Plenty of room in the main compartment for all the essentials, and a zippered compartment inside as well as two open pockets. In here I have a long wallet, big sunglass case, keys, phone, small umbrella, a small bottle of hand lotion and it even fits my DSLR camera (of course it’s not in there when the picture was taken hehe) with space to spare. The smaller zip compartments are not very big so it’s good for smaller things. The crumpled leather on this one is quite durable and if you scratch it, it won’t really be obvious, but it also comes in beautiful pebbled leather if you look on Barneys.com and LN-CC :)
Lovely to have you back and I’m glad you had a lovely break.
Great casual outfit (but funked up) as ever. I’m slowly moving in to the mono shades for Autumn but I’m still hanging on to a few light colours for the last days of September. I like the Mango oversized jumper - methinks I need to take a look at that in store. I still haven’t bought any pants/jeans/leggings from Uniqlo as I haven’t worked out their sizing yet online. The only Uniqlo I’ve been to is in Shatin in Hong Kong and they even stock kids wear from their as I managed to get Ben some Keith Haring tees there a few years back. I understand you did some shopping ? Girl after my own heart.

Uniqlo is great for stuff like that. I kinda regret not stocking up on more when I was in Taiwan. Looking casual yet so chic - adore your bag!

I love this outfit, Steph! It’s gone quite cold lately and jumpers are all I can think about. How was your trip back to KL? Did you eat lots?

I did indeed, pretty much non-stop for the whole week since there are so many things to eat on my list!

Haha and I’m all about leggings on the plane too! I always need to wear something that allows me to twist into weird pretzel shapes. Hope you had tons of fun!

Really perfect relaxed look. I’m in LOVE with your bag. I was deliberating purchasing it in London and I obviously didn’t. I have huge regrets! You have a great blog. I’m your newest follower. Happy weekend
