Completely obsessed with these awesome Baggu bags!
They are made from rip-stop material, super strong (holds 25 pounds but weighs next to nothing!) and comes folded in a little pouch that fits in your back pocket. There are so many versions of these reusable, sustainable ‘green’ bags but I find these are by far the coolest - unbranded, minimal and comes in a zillion colours!
Check out their Tumblr page for styling ideas.
I’d seen so many pictures of Santorini from M’s blog but I didn’t realise they were mostly of Oia.. imagine my surprise when I arrived to high, imposing cliffs on a ferry I thought was big when I left Mykonos but felt quite small sailing into the port.. the smattering of white buildings clinging to the tops looked like snow from below.

Latest obsession! Discovered Pinterest some time last week and absolutely love it. What a great tool for bookmarking images you find online - I previously used my tumblr for that purpose but it’s not quite as awesome as this one.
I’ve been posting a fair number of portraits made from a variety of things lately but this is by far the coolest one I’ve seen this year. Brit artist Kyle Bean, who specialises in hand crafted models, set design and art direction produced this rather cool concept for Wallpaper* Handmade 2011 contributor’s page. He also made this meta chicken from eggshells that I really like. Check out his site for more awesomeness.
Images from here.
Sydney weather has hit it’s lowest for the year, I think. My heart sinks a little every morning I look outside and the sky is not the brilliant blue I always expect it to be. Even then, the shadows run long and the wind bites. I’m still in a bit of a denial and I’m sure I’ve left part of myself somewhere in the Aegean.. my Winter clothes are still sitting in a box in the basement and I can’t be bothered to get them out. No wonder I’m freezing my ass off! But ironically I find Winter a little less cold each year. Perhaps I’m finally getting used to it, and perhaps it’s finally getting used to me?
It’s only July but I’m already obsessed with the coming (Australian) Summer months - planning, anticipating, day-dreaming.. it feels a little like the void a lover leaves only there’s nothing you can really do about the weather but to wait, or move with it.. and I can’t say I haven’t been tempted to especially when I have so many amazing friends around the world. Some days I wonder if this wanderlust is a curse or a blessing. I can’t seem to get Summer’s promise of sunshine and freedom out of my head..
Next stop - Tasmania. In Winter. Oh dear.
