Had the pleasure of trying out what Nik terms the “cancerous char siew” over the weekend - nicknamed such because of the almost black exterior. It is indeed one of the best in town. It smells of honey and smoke (and sin) with a sticky caramel outer and almost melt-in-your-mouth tenderness.

I’ve been so bad! Don’t tell Santa.

First I hit the FJB sale. And then Wondermomo. Who can resist Marni flats going for 70%? Not me. I’ve been looking for a beige pair for the longest.

It was about 7pm today when I finally succumbed to asking myself, when does it all end? I’m putting it down to the Aquarian avoidance nature of never yielding to inherent signs of weakness until absolutely necessary, or as some may call it.. procrastinating.

Actually I’m not so sure what I’m on about, either.

I guess it’s been a long while since I’ve had any time to sit down and have a breather and think and think and think about where all this is going, where I’m going and where all the people around me are going. But the fact remains, things are going. Going to get better? Worse? Strangely I have the answer yet I don’t; after being decidedly placated for period of time (hibernation? that might explain the eating) the incoming year end has now prompted me to think again. Not that I don’t think much. I do. In fact I think too much. But never about the things I should be thinking about.

But then again it’s not every day you walk past a shoe sale, into a wine shop, and leave feeling quite happy you have a bottle of De Bortoli’s Noble One instead of the pair of patent pewter mirror wedges you were dying for the week before.

It’s been a long week ;)

I dream of this place some times. When it’s 3am and I wonder what I’m doing in this plastic shrinkwrap.

There are so many possibilities in a sky painted all kinds of wonderful.

Did a shoot today.

We hung around the studio while waiting for some of them to finish filming.

I dig Bobo’s fuzzy hair alot.

Too bad we weren’t told Joey was tied to adidas.
We were going to put him in some Nikes.

Jen’s “Egypt” shoes. She says they are deteriorating like the pyramids so she’s gone and bought another one.

We put Marion in these wonderful red shoes.

The press were all over Nicholas. Nice guy, bit quiet. He has such a gorgeous face.

Then it was bad traffic ’til 7pm.
