The man who brought us the octopus chair (bottom image) as part of a series of limited edition animal chairs has added two new animals to the collection - the walrus and the rhino. I’m not sure about you but I absolutely love them!

The design and construction process is pretty complicated, requiring over thirty professionals and four companies. Read more about it here.

The Sartorialtwist

Designer Harry Woodrow’s site, The Sartorialtwist, takes images from Scott Schuman’s infamous fashion photography blog The Sartorialist and mashes them up into often funny and sometimes surprisingly inspiring combinations. I’ve spent too much time on it already!

Busy weekend

On Friday night we went to Sean’s with W’s guitar and had a little music sesh. On Saturday we went apartment hunting. Later, I went to get a haircut and a perm, but the perm failed! I’ve never heard of a perm failing - the salon has offered to do it again but I’m a bit worried that it’s going to damage my hair perming it twice in a fortnight. But I’m probably going anyway. I need a new style for Spring!

My cousins from Brisbane arrived on Saturday evening. W was DJing which gave me the perfect excuse to catch up with some friends. As a result I spent most of Sunday in recovery mode..

How was your weekend?
