It’s increasingly hard not to dress in all-black so I broke up an all-black work day outfit with a denim shirt and threw a curb chain necklace and chunky rings (not shown) to dress it down. I’m lucky that as a designer I get to pretty much dress any way I want to, so this buttery-soft leather blazer is as close as I get to corporate dress these days..
Really looking forward to the weekend! x

This Sass & Bide jacket from 2004 has been sitting in my closet doing nothing, until last week when I decided to cut the sleeves off and give it a new life. It took less than five minutes, and now I have a new gilet! It’s so much more wearable now as the original sleeves were an awkward fluted shape. Thrown on top of this dress and a Balenciaga Weekender that I’ve been carrying for a solid two weeks.
I know, blogger faux pas and all that, but seriously some times I get into those bag loops that carry on (pun intended!) for a bit especially when I haven’t worn something for a while. The vastness of the Weekender’s interior lends well to Winter, and I won’t pretend there isn’t a sweater and scarf in my bag because I definitely pulled it out later on…

Really happy about having a great start to my week - the sun’s out (17c!) and I’m getting a bit of headway with some stuff I’ve been working on. I think these two occurrences must be interrelated somehow. I function better in warmer temperatures, I think.. somehow a little bit of sunshine makes everything better :) Have a great week ahead!

Picked up this gorgeous olive boyfriend sweater on the weekend and threw it on top of a tuxedo shirt that had an attached bow that I left untied. I’ve always liked the juxtaposition between high and low, like a cocktail dress worn with a denim jacket or a slouchy white tee with a tailored pant. The boundaries are much less defined these days, so it’s fun to experiment.

I promise I only ever post Lookbooks that completely inspire me and here’s one from Sass & Bide’s latest collection, Sing, Brother!, that I’m absolutely swooning over. It’s no secret that they are one of my favourite designers ever, and this time around I just love the restrained palette and the absolutely amazing details are just such a visual feast for the eyes.. my absolute favourite are the last six that I’ve named, which ones are yours?
