01/14/2002 Entry: "Jan 13th?"

Was gonna go rock-climbing today, but didn't make it. Mainly because I failed to wake up on time, and also Bron wasn't feeling up to it. We're both sick. So I went jogging instead at 8 am. Felt better at 3 pm, when I woke up for real (I went back to sleep after jogging) and mom wanted to go to the city.
So we did. And I drove. It was hell. Can you believe it took me one and a half hours to get there? Well, getting to the city itself wasn't bad, Sunday traffic is pretty OK most of the time, but when we reached the Sultan Ismail vicinity, traffic was not moving. I'm serious. The blasted government decided to close Bintang Walk, the whole stretch of road from the old BBGS up till Lot 10, so traffic went haywire, everyone got stuck, a whole bunch of cars at the back were reversing, so I followed, tried to take the Jalan Ampang route instead, got to Jalan Imbi, where it all started again. It took me about an hour in the city to get to the parking place.
Just what you need on a relaxing Sunday afternoon.
So we finally got to Starhill, picked up my contact lense, got mom some new frames, and I got a new pair of sunnies!! Mom actually bought them for me, what luck. I have been wanting one for ages, coz I lost my last pair 2 years ago and haven't gotten round to getting a replacement. So yeah, new sunnies for me.
Met up with Bron in KLCC for dinner before going to Coffee Bean in Kiara to meet the girls. Got the pics from them, still more to come though. I'm tired, and retiring.
Oh yeah, the visual that's meant to go with the 1st Jan post. Here it is. Me and Eleana, took the pic before we all got too drunk to remember. Ehh.. :)

and what the heck has that got to do with you? :) unless you have a low self esteem or a *cough*smallpenis*cough* go find better things to do than comment on other people's physical appearances..
