Hair care

Can't get my hair treatment done today because Raintree Club was having a renovation thingie and they cut off the cold water supply to the salon.. dammit. So my stylist gave me two bottles of L'Oreal Ineral Forte to do the treatment at home. I've also got my hands on a bottle of Kerastase Aqua-Oleum, which is probably the best stuff in the world for dry hair like mine. A unidose of that stuff (12ml) would cost about RM 130 at the salon. Madness.

I also bought other hair products, mainly maintainence stuff like leave-ins, mom thinks I spend too much on my hair. I hardly touch finishing products, because my hair doesn't require much styling.. but I think I've got some wax somewhere.

Gotta go wash my hair now.

Hello, am dying to get straight shiny hair. If you don't mind me asking, what treatment izzit you go for? And how much does it cost? I've heard of that Kerastese thing but never tried it. Does it really help? Do you need to blow dry/straighten after that as well? Sorry for the kajillion questions :)

Oh hey, I love questions, lol..

i haven't been to a salon treatment in like 2 years~ but that's only to 'repair' my hair. it costs around 50 - 100, depending on your hair lenght.. the kerastase aqua-oleum thing costs more, not sure how much but its 130 at the salon i go to.

these treatments are to make your hair less dry and add more body and shine.. as for straightening hair..

you can get it done at a salon, chemically straighten it for about 400? not too sure, again cost depends on salon. straightening hair is fun, but it does alot of damage to your hair because it uses alot of chemicals, opening up your cuticles and then resealing it. just like bleaching or coloring or perming.

there's another kerastase product called nutritive intensive masque, which you leave on for 20 mins after washing and then u rinse off. that is the most effective product i've tried, about rm 70 for a tub, but i can use it like 10 times.

if u blow dry your hair, i guess its straighter than if u dont. depends on your hair..
