09/12/2023 Entry: "Welly boots"

Guess what? I'm gonna go to Wellington in about 2 hours! Hehe.. yesterday we rented a car, a Mitsu Mirage, same as my Satria back home.. shit I miss my car leh.. :( But yeah, we rented a car and booked some rooms for 2 nights.. Jimi, me, Pian, Wan, David and my senior will be going in that small car.. the rest are going by bus (gasp!) But we're all staying in the same place, and about 15 of us are going. Still remember a joke Joe made about 'Welly boots' - I wonder if he remembers it.. and in connection to what. Haha.

David's this really nice HK guy who's coming along with us because he used to study in Wellington, and he promised to bring us around. I went latin dancing on Tuesday evening with him and his friends and it was quite fun.. didn't stay for the 'advanced' class though, think David did.. wonder how that went.

Can't wait to get to Wellington. Promised to call mom last night but I was so tired from gym I forgot about it.. spoke to Bron for an hour instead which was just as nice.. I'm way over budget for this trip because I plan to shop (hiaks!) so there.. gotta give dad a ring sometime soon about that. Or one of you could just send me shitloads of moolah to tide me over Spring. Right.

In a weird mood today, see, not even typing properly! But yeah, I gotta run - but I'll tell you all about it in 2 days? Unless I find an internet cafe in Wellington, wait, think there's one on Cuba St Mall.. adios :)
