12/27/2002 Entry: "Meeting up"

With all the dresses I've been getting, I need some occasions to wear them to. Anyone need a date? LOL!

Met up with Lai Min and Eleana today to go and pick up our reserves from MNG. We came out of the shop with an amazing load of clothes and a debt of about 2Gs.. talk about a huge dent. We're happy though, at least I know I am. I just added another 2 pairs of jeans to my huge collection. Mom will freak if she finds out.

Met up with another friend right after that for lunch, and as usual I took the liberty of stuffing myself silly.. then we watched Fallen, which is so not my kind of movie but it was a good one nonetheless - Denzel Washington is sooo hot!

Met up with Mark and Douglas after that for dinner which consisted of some jap food and a good laugh.. Douglas is good for that. He told us a really shitty joke, which isn't funny because it's about a broken sewerage pipe at the Megamall carpark. The joke stank, literally.. hiaks!

Met up with Pamela, a girl I met while working as a grid girl for Sepang's first Formula One race in the carpark. More like bumped into her. She was parked right next to me and honked at me when I got in my car and God, I swear she looks prettier every time I see her.. and that woman has a personality to match. We left with christmas wishes and promises to catch up in a proper place when she gets back from a diving trip to Thailand. I'm so envious! I think the last time I saw her was almost two years ago.

Met up with Tiff, Merv, Lisa and the rest of the Bangsar posse for a post-dinner drink in Bangsar (where else but?) Tiffany gave me the coolest present ever.. it's for hardcore vodka lovers (I'd like to think I'm one!) It's a cone shaped shot glass, which stands in a beaker like thing. You're supposed to fill the beaker with crushed ice to keep your shot chilled.. oh man. Tiff knows me too well! And dad just brought me back a bottle of Absolut.. gosh. I'm giving myself a mission to see if that thing actually works, haha. Also found out over drinks that Merv's mom owns Bodhi Tree, trendy food place in the city. I'm gonna make reservations for Monday because their tiramisu is supposed to be really really good.

Met up with a lot of people today.. happening huh? I wish everyday could be like this.. shopping, dining, movie-ing, drinks and good laughs throughout. My day tomorrow will be pretty dead save for a late afternoon yum cha with Elaine and a dinner date, so I think I'm gonna stay up late and prance around in my new clothes and sleep in. I love holidays.

I also have some chores to do.. bluek. My room is a complete mess. I'm gonna try to start on it tomorrow when I wake up and throw a ton of stuff out. I have alot of things I keep for sentimental reasons but it's time for my own personal spring cleaning. Those shoes I bought 5 years ago isn't ever gonna see the light of day anymore and that itself is a good enough reason as any to chuck them. I'm running out of space. When I get my own place in the future, I'm gonna get a walk-in closet. I'm so jealous of people with walk-ins.. my clothes are all over the place.. but I stay in a pretty small place so there's no room for expansion.

I knew today'd be a good day because I woke up feeling ecstatic.
