Wow. I'm finally settled and back in Wanganui.

The trip here has been really long and tiring though.. but I have tons of stuff to tell you. We arrived in Auckland International Airport about 12:30pm, where Evon and Joanne picked us up. Went room hunting after that because Evon's place was full and we ended up in a backpacker's on Queen St. Spent the whole afternoon shopping, and I even managed to pick up the cute guy who works in Quiksilver. Spent the evening resting and at night we met up with Jacq and Keegan and went to Lenin Bar.

Lenin Bar's like a dream come true. It's a Russian Vodka Bar! The only thing they serve in there is vodka, and they have like a million different types of it. I took their menu back home with me because I was just too in love with that place. I had a couple of shots of vodka infusions before we headed over to the Coast Bar at the HP Building.

Coast Bar is really really nice. My girlfriends will absolutely love it. It overlooks the harbour and the view is absolutely brilliant. Not only that, the whole interior is really posh, and I love the vodka berry champagne they serve there (aptly named Absolut Lush!) I even got a discount on it, the bartender only charged me $9.50 for a $21 drink. It's nice being a girl!

Had to split at about 3am because we had to wake up at 8am to catch the 9am bus down to Wanganui. Managed to get our asses on the bus, slept almost all the way there on the bus which took 10 hours to get to Wanganui because of all the stops and breaks we had. By the time we got back we were so tired out. I've been moved back into my old room.. yay! Spent ages unpacking because I have so much stuff - oh God, I really didn't realize how much stuff I have, it's nuts. The very first thing I did was put my computer together and turn it on. God, I really miss my computer.

Lazed around yesterday, took Lai Min around the Main St area today to get some stuff and her Uni things sorted out.. then we decided to go to Wellington, so we bought some tickets and booked some accomodation - we're leaving at 8:30 am tomorrow. Talk about impulsive.

Tomorrow's my birthday and Wellington's not a bad place to spend it. I'm gonna go shopping for something for myself. Maybe a bottle of specialty vodka.. hrmz. We'll see.
