10/01/2024 Entry: "Small world!"

.. and I thought KL was a small place! Roy and Dan came back from their Magic game and dragged me out for coffee at James St Bistro. When I walked down I found the both of them in Dan's car because Bistro was closed and the next thing I knew I was in Milton at Dolce Vita. They serve the best italian hot chocolates.. thick as stuff that just melts in your mouth. Yum. First person I see when I walked in was none other than Patrick, Nik's boss! I mean, I knew he was gonna be down here and I'm actually supposed to meet him sometime this weekend at the coast because he just got in tonight from Sydney but.. small bloody world :) Anyway.. Dolce Vita is the equivalent of a mamak yum char place at that hour, and most of it was spent listening to Roy and Dan talk about Magic and the tournament they'll be at this weekend in Sydney. Serious geek speak. I even picked up some of the game just listening to both of them.. hehe! And on the way back to Roy's we had to stop and park at the side of the road because someone was moving 2 sections of their house. 2 sections of house (!!!) We waited for a couple of minutes and the kitchen drove by.. LOL. It's late, I gotta jet and sleep because I have a design breakfast conference thing tomorrow morning at 7 bloody am in the city and I have no idea how to get there so I'm gonna have to wake up early and figure that out. Aussies are mad, I tell ya :) Gotta love the semangat-ness though!
