Absolutely Fuzzed - 30/11/2003: "Cleaning up"

Haven't posted in awhile due to lack of internet connection at home. How sucky. I need to get broadband soon.. What did everyone do for Raya?

Me and Tiff visited Rudy on the second day of Raya and he fed me pretty well. Hehe. It was great catching up with some old friends I haven't seen in ages but we had to leave early because Tiff had dinner plans with the family. That's about the extent of my Raya activities (besides pigging out on buka puasa food) because my NZ malay friends are all in their kampungs and next week there will be more open house visits when they all get back to the city.

Other than that, I have been very busy cleaning out my room. I have accumulated too much shit over the years and I'm in the mood to throw stuff out. So far I have thrown out about 6 cartons of rubbish, and I have about 3 cartons of clothes/accessories for donation, and I managed to finally part with about 22 pairs of shoes. I also decided to give away several bottles of perfume I never use and alot of other random things. The only things I didn't have the heart to throw out are my books (I have about 800 books) because I want to read all of them again one day. Me and Nik also went to Ikea and I bought new handles for my wardrobe, which I am gonna plaster with black wallpaper and contrasting stripes. I also bought mood lighting and mirrors.. whee!

I also got one of the new MAC eye palettes, and Nik bought me the brushes for Christmas. They're gorgeous!

Last night I went to check out La Bodega in KL with Nik and we had a game of scrabble at the lounge area upstairs. It's a nice cozy place with nice furniture and in a very old part of the city, where Frangipani is. I trashed him of course :) but I have to admit I underestimated him at the start.. hehe. I'm up for a game or two if anyone's interested.

I got a haircut today, the other day it didn't happen and Nik took me to Peek-a-boo this afternoon on the pretense we were going to meet some of his friends - instead he made an appointment for me! Isn't he the sweetest? I have a fringe now, and my hair is straight again. I will take some pictures when I go to Bar Savanh tonight. I'm meeting up with the girls again, as well as some old friends from high school.

ohmigawd! a scrabble fan! been looking for peeps like you for ages...sadly, no one else seems to be into it anymore. made me feel a bit of a loser. ok, so you dont even know me but what the hell. game of scrabble?
