Ghetting ghetto

This past weekend has been mad fun (OK, maybe getting Friday off had something to do with it..) and it all started with the JUICE Style/Ghetto Heaven Launch at Zouk on Thursday night. Happening in Velvet Underground next door was Found @ Thirst semi-finals, and alternating audio environments has never been so fun. Oh, and some of us went ghetto for the occasion:

There were a whole lot of snap-worthy getup, but unfortunately yours truly couldn't be bothered to take too many pictures that night. Was trying to avoid getting plastered (and surprisingly managed to avoid a decent amount of drinkses, my preciousss..) The free flow of Black Label and Guinness was worth going for though.. they sure weren't watering down the drinks.

Friday night, hail Leeroy Thornhill of Prodigy on the decks of Atmosphere. Nik and I went solo, and bumped into some colleagues there. I spent most of the night avoiding drinks (again! I can almost hear your collective gasps!) and immersing myself in the sounds while Nik took the express route and chugged a jug of Long Island Tea.. followed by half a dozen JD-cokes.. all by himself! Guess who drove? :)

Jeffus hooked us up with fantastic KENT bands that Nik insists on not throwing away.. thanks Jeff!

Crowd err.. crowding on the podium probably wondering 'WTF is this guy playing?!'

And on Saturday I decided to attempt climbing some walls at Summit with Mei Peng and Joshua. Indoor rock climbing is hell fun. Nik came along and chilled out while waiting for me.. and on Sunday morning it was payback time for making him wait three hours cuz my entire right side was sore as! Must listen to Josh when he says use more legs and less arms..

Shucks.

But that's OK. I still got to watch Ferarri kick major ass in Bahrain even with my sore arms. Go Jensen Button! Go Kimi! Err. Has anyone noticed Kimi's like, the only guy who hasn't finished a single race? Like, WTF? This is last year's No. 2 we're talking about! Italian GP next.. fat chance Ferarri won't take both cars to podium finishes.. home ground, baybeh!
