A prevision

A hundred years from now people will discuss what it must've been like living in this decade, and it'll probably sound something like.. "Prince Charles married that stupid tart!" It's much better, though, when you consider (and compare against this magnitude) the time the Great Wall was being unified and 70% of the population of China was (forced to be) on the case.. and many perished in the process. The saying goes that for every stone that makes the Great Wall, one life has been sacrificed for it. That decade (by that decade I really mean century) must've been a whole hell worse. I mean, seeing the royal wedding on TV might be painfully agonising, but it has nothing on the past. Seeing it splashed across the media and having it slowly brainwashing the nation into acceptance is much, much worse.

Hey, did you know a whole lot of sea cucumbers washed up on shore today? I hope it's not a forewarning of a final, crust-splitting quake.

Sea Cucumbers?
They might have come from the last quake.
They are a bit slow, you know.
The fishes and sotong are a bit faster.

An interesting thread from my social mailing list, and my reply:

As a matter a fact, the sea cucumbers (they were
calling them Gamat on local tellie) did fly out.
Apparently the Tsunami, Earthquakes, bombing in Yala,
Narathiwat and Hadyai had triggered a evolutionary
response from Mom Nature to enable these Gamats to
spur tiny lil cutie wings from the back of their asses
(or heads..who could tell?)...

During their flight out of Langkawi (they did have
Airasia bookings; but nothing really beat wings. they
forfeited unfairly, their total 9.99 pre-booked +
airport taxes/ admin fee totalling 69.99 each -
whomever said Airasia was fair is a wanker but i
digress) their lack of navigational ability - Nature
gave them wings but left out the GPS - caused them to
seriously veer off path, and left them in PD.

Their flight explains some sightings of, how would you
put this.. 'extra-terrestrial airborne constructs that
at a glance, looks like flying pieces of excrement'..
over the skies of KL. Then again, if you knew what
Gamat looks like, you can imagine what can hardly
blame the ignorants..

So as far as investigations of the truth behind second
earthquakes occuring on the 13th - 15th are concerned,
i doubt it... Although if we do feel reverbration,
worry not; it may be the combination of drink-induced
unconscious free fall of the brothers Foong during
their birthday celebrations.
