¡Hola Granada!

I’m excited to share these photos from Granada. The snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada, almost within reach, certainly makes a stunner of a backdrop especially if you arrive by air. In Albayzín, the old town, the little winding streets takes you right back to its medieval past and of course here in the middle of it all, lies one of Europe’s greatest historical and architectural treasures, the Alhambra y Generalife (where most of these photos were taken). I’d studied Islamic architecture and history in art school so it was pretty incredible to be able to see all this in person…

Your photos are absolutely stunning, as always! I’d never heard of this place before, but it looks beautiful, especially with those pools of water :)

I like your simple black and white outfit too :)

The level of detail in the arches and ceilings is unreal, and yet it exists.

Holy Granada more like it! I’m not sure if Alhambra y Generalife is on my bucketlist (that shits just huge you know) but it’s there now. How amazing and intricate is everything. I can see myself maxing out a memory card or two on my camera just from this place. So stunning!

Oh wow, these are all so so beautiful! I feel like I’m almost there! The architecture is absolutely breathtaking - the detail, the intricacy, the time it must have taken! Just wow. I agree with Sonia, it wasn’t on my bucket list, but it definitely is now!
