One for the sample sale score: this deliciously floaty dress that was picked up for a song at a recent warehouse sale. It’s been so good in the 30+c temperatures this past week, so much that I need to know: How many times in a row constitutes overwear? And how many maxi dresses are too many? Could navy possibly be the most versatile neutral ever? These are the kind of questions that pop in my head occasionally. If you’ve noticed I’m kind of partial to navy..

Something else I also think about: How awesome are personalised items?! I love the idea of this so much that I have a black version of this tote coming my way too, just to balance things out. Monogram all the things!!

      Thanks Mica! The tote is still available in some colours, unfortunately not this blue one. I’ve also discovered local bookbinders can monogram any leather bags you already have (!) and personalised things make such great presents ;) I need to start my shopping soon, can’t believe we’re halfway through november already!

    First off, this was absolutely the perfect location for this outfit. So free and flowy and naturey! I’m definitely on boat with you can never have too many maxis. On one hand shaving my legs is an annoying chore, on the other hand wearing a dress/ skirt is more comfortable than pants- huzzah the solution to both problems, the maxi!
