Momofuku Seiobo
It’s been a while since I blogged about food but if truth be told I’m eating out less now than I used to. Here are some photos from a 10-course lunch at Momofuku Seiobo. The much-anticipated pork bun did not blow me away at all, though its all too familiar flavours reminded me of the ones I used to have as a kid. It was perfectly made of course, but kind of left me wondering what the fuss is all about. The mains of mulloway with smoked roe and pork neck with pear were stellar, as was the rather odd but good piccalilli and rye dessert.. and of course who can not possibly like a caramelised pork fat donut!?
