Keeping it simple on the weekend and enjoying the down time while work shifts into third. Ribbed knit dresses are my new closet staple - so comfortable that I could almost wear them to sleep. These are the new Lim hybrid wedges that have been giving me some grief but I think I’ve broken them in after some weeks of wearing them at home… finally! Does anyone have any good tips for breaking in new shoes?

    that little knit dress is so perfect on you too. I’m looking forward to getting my long sleeve pieces out for autumn..but the summer heat an humidity is sticking around here for a little longer :)
    Good luck breaking in the shoes! I’m sure you will have tried the freezer bags or water trick and the thick socks and hairdryer trick already.

    I only know the tricks that Mica has mentioned. And I think you are made of sterner stuff than me because if it doesn’t quite work after the hairdryer trick … I don’t keep. I am a wuss. Or I’m just getting old and I’ve turned in to my mother and I now only buy comfortable shoes. Oh that sounds so bad doesn’t it?

    And those gym sessions are seriously working - that dress is perfect on you!

      oh thanks sue! i also only ever buy comfortable shoes! that’s the problem with online shopping though, it’s a mixed bag with the sizes.. I need to look up that hairdryer trick! The fit on these shoes were just a bit weird - narrow and long - we’re friends now after some stick on heel padding and patience!
