Rips and tears

Much as I dislike the whole process of moving, it’s a good opportunity to edit my wardrobe. I found this hole-y tee that I bought from ASOS a while ago – it was inspired by the Balmain catwalks and instantly reminded me of ‘Derelique Chic’ from Zoolander (minus the garbage bags) when I first got it and I think I wore it so much I added a few extra holes. I think this is where my mum would say, “why would you pay money for something that has holes in it??” I’ll never be able to explain these ‘expertly ripped’ boyfriend jeans to her either, but I love them to death!

I did a balayage look on my hair last week at home, it cost me $8! What do you think?

#1 - Sass & Bide skinny jeans, ASOS top, DIY jacket, Tory Burch shoes, Diva necklace, Balenciaga bag.
#2 - Zara jacket, Topshop top, Sass & Bide boyfriend jeans, Rubi flats, Balenciaga bracelet, Marc by Marc Jacobs bag.

Love both look! And I really like ripped jeans myself, but my mom says the exact same thing as yours.
You did a fantastic job with the balayage! My hairdresser does this on my hair, and I pay A LOT more for it. I”m too scared to do it myself.

Ohhh… this DIY jacket again! Have you counted the times I’ve told you how much I love it? Add this one too :)
The “wing” necklace is beautiful and I have a simmilar one in a smaller size too :)
I love your neon ballerinas too :)
Btw I also don’t love the feeling of plastic shoes in my feet and that;s why though I like them, I don’ wear them :)
    Have a wonderful day

LOVE those jeans! They look perfectly tattered and comfy! I tried to wear a pair of my own ripped jeans to a party, and the hubby vetoed. I guess we are in Fort Worth, and peeps just don’t understand that kind of thing!

And I can’t believe you studded your own jacket and OMG at the hair! You’ve got mad skills Steph! Was the balayage hard to do? I’d be afraid since I’ve only done color in a box. Last time I tried any kind of highlights, I asked my roommate to help me and I ended up looking like a cheetah! YIKES!

I haven’t done anything with my hair other than trim it for years now so I had to google to find out what balayage means! hahaha… Now I’m well informed :P You’ve got the nonchalant chic look that I love.
