Amazingly the weather’s actually been pretty summer-like all weekend so we pretended it still was and wandered out to Alexandria to check out the Art Hunter popup event next to The Grounds. We grabbed some lunch nearby and said hello to Kevin Bacon the resident pet pig (LOL) and ended our run with some grocery shopping at Salt Meats Cheese just around the corner. In the evening we drove out to Mount Hunter for an engagement party, then caught up with some episodes of House of Cards which I’m currently obsessed with watching. This has been an ideal Sydney weekend!

So since the acquisition of this tote I’m now even more obsessed with shades of brilliant blues. These sneakers are the latest addition to my collection of blue coloured things. This is actually a men’s colourway but I just had to have them in this classic Blazer style - they go with everything!

Sounds like a great weekend! Love the bright blue with the classic black and white too.

Your top is stunning - I have it in my cart at shopbop now, last one and in my size…so tempted. There is a review says it runs a little tight around the chest/shoulders though, do you find that?

Thanks love - I was worried about that too but it’s not really apparent for me as it seems to be cut fairly loose, I’m not particularly heavy up top though

Thank you Steph! <3 I decided against it in the end, body changing too much at the moment for me to be sure of sizing anyway, haha!

Sounds like the perfect weekend Steph.

And another perfectly executed outfit - you do colour blocking so well - it’s so much more effective than an OTT statement print or maybe it’s because I like simplicity done well. it’s given me some food for thought - I may need to introduce a little cobalt blue into the proceedings for summer!

What an amazing weekend! I’ve been told House of Cards is a must watch and it’s next on my list as soon as I finish ‘Fringe’ (my current tv series obsession).

I love your outfit. That floaty top is dreamy and what’s not to love about cobolt sneakers!

    Happy weekend Steph!

We’re nearing our spring/summer here, so I’m really liking the color play here. I might end up taking a page out of your book in a few weeks :)

I know! I’m so bummed it can’t be summer all year round, haha. I guess I have layering to look forward to. Something about blue always looks great in warm months, especially in photos with blue skies..

I think I need to spend some time checking out Alexandria - seems like there are some neat cafes (and Salts Meats Cheese which I want to go to!). What do you think of the Mansur Graviel bucket bags? They’re so tempting!

PS. Will you be going to Fashion Week? x

There are a lot of cool new spots in that area, you should go! I like taking photos around there too - there are some industrial warehouse type places that are usually deserted on weekends. Hope you’re enjoying Sydney so far :)

I’d love a MG bucket bag and came so close to buying the full cobalt blue one from spring summer when it went up on moda operandi’s trunk show. I really regret not getting it since they have a really bad tendency to be unavailable anywhere when you do decide you want one, haha. You won’t regret it!
