Shelter
We were stuck in the city when there were gale force winds (no seriously I came close to letting go of my bag at one stage and wearing a maxi dress in these conditions is like being a walking parachute.. urk) so we ended up hiding in one of the buildings around Darling Harbour for shelter. It had these really nice marble steps too. W took those photos toward the end when I was checking Instagram.. haha.
Been wanting to share this dress for a while. The asymmetric front is nicely unbalanced and the back detail is so simple / perfect. I really love the drape too. I’ve been quite obsessed with things that drape lately. Even got myself a few metres of lightweight jersey to mess around with at home for a DIY but more on that later. This bag is a new acquisition and I’ve been using it almost on a daily basis. Really wish it was real leather - it looks quite convincing - because I’m obsessed with the shape of it but it wasn’t too expensive so I can’t really complain. Paired with a pair of bright orange leather sandals from local Aussie brand Cali and Cale to break up the all-black thing going on here.. not that there’s anything wrong with that :)
