Simple geometry

Topshop pants, Free People sweater, CC Skye necklace, Balenciaga loafers.

What I’ve been wearing lately is probably a testament to the kind of Summer we’ve been having. I can’t believe I’m still in sweaters in the middle of December! I wonder how long this is going to go on for. Today I bonded with a girl outside the train station when we both stopped to change out of our shoes into thongs (that’s what we call rubber slippers/sandals here in Australia) because of the rain. For once I remembered to check the weather forecast! “You’re doing the same as me, this is crazy!” she said.. I just laughed.

Here’s a more detailed shot of this necklace I wore in the last post - I saw it earlier and fell in love with the geometric shapes and was quite happy when I saw it on sale. At first I thought I would like to shorten it a little but the length is growing on me. It’s something I would have designed myself if I got the chance to, and I’m surprised at how well it goes with.. everything.

Tomorrow is the last day of work and I can’t wait to have a break! Hope everyone’s Christmas/holiday preparations are going well :)

Gorgeous outfit! You’re lucky you’re heading into the Summer months - Winter has just begun for us! That is such a beautiful necklace, and I love the color of your jeans! I tend to call sandals thongs sometimes, and I usually get a strange look from everyone around me!

Just wish it were a bit warmer, but I guess I can’t complain since it’s Winter pretty much everywhere else :)

Oh I love your necklace and your sweater. It’s sad that you still have cold weather there. The temperature here has dropped a lot, and we have rain and wind, or even snow in some places of Greece. Wish we had snowy Christmas but I doubt it. I hope your weather warms up in the next days.
My Christmas preparations included a lot of baking, and standing up. I’m so tired, and I don’t have enough time to do the things I want, and sleep. But Christmas is coming, so I’m excited!

Thanks M! I’ve never had a snowy Christmas, I wonder what that’s like! Is it often you get snow in December there? It’s great that you have been baking, I’m not the best “baker” but luckily I have a man who is! I’m excited too :)

Great outfit once again! The necklace looks so good with this deep blue background!
Here, we maybe are in the middle of winter but I think today is the day that it started. It rains all day long and it’s freezing cold. Till 2 or 3 days ago the only difference from summer’s outfits were the long sleeves and the close shoes :)
    many kisses
