When Pitusa offered to send me something from their store I knew this dress would make an ideal Summer coverup. I love the slight boho vibe to it and the fact that it travels really well. Too easy to throw back on after a nice refreshing dip - except the clouds were starting to roll in when we took these.. I suppose this counts as a dress rehearsal? Really looking forward to some proper beach time soon. T minus one week before my Christmas break starts ;)

    Hahaha dress rehearsal! Sounds like Melbourne weather not Sydney! This is such a pretty piece, simple but still dramatic with that stripe. Love it!

    Ah, these photos are so beautiful. I love the effect of the photos from the wide angle lense. The sky looks so broad and sweeping. I really love the kaftan that you’re wearing in the photos. Clouds or not - spending time by the ocean sounds pretty dreamy to me! It’s freezing here. xx

      Such a strange disconnect between hemispheres huh? When it’s Winter over here I daydream over your Summer pix too. The wide angle lens is a new acquisition and I’m stoked with it so far :) I (personally) take a lot of landscape shots so hoping to get some good ones to share soon xx

      thanks akiko! somehow long white maxi dresses just feel so right next to the beach for me - so far it’s been pretty good but better when i’m officially on holiday next week! hope your winter’s going well too xx

    Oh wow, I am soo jealous of that view! I would love to live somewhere close to a beach like this, I still find it so odd the difference in seasons between the hemispheres, I can’t imagine having Christmas in Summer! The stripe down the center of the coverup & the deep v neck makes you look so tall & long and those sunglasses are perfect on you too.
