Seems an age since I last posted… so much has happened this past month that it almost feels weird to be blogging again. Not that I don’t miss it. An opportunity presented itself for me to take a step back and I did - I’ve had my parents visit this past month and I’ve pretty much spent every available minute I’ve had with them, outside of work and weekly French classes… after being away for 7 years it’s just one of those things I wanted to make time for. We spent last weekend at the Gold Coast and since we got back the weather’s been pretty extreme in Sydney. It even hailed on Saturday, randomly, so hard to get out there and take photos. But here are some snaps from the Gold Coast. It’s changed so much over the years - kind of feels a bit like Miami now!

    I hope you had a great time in the Gold Coast Steph! :) The weather has been a lot better here than in Sydney, it’s crazy the extreme weather you guys have been having.

    They say it’s going to be bad here for a couple days, but to be honest I don’t think it will be anything like what Sydney has experienced.

    Hope your parents are having a good time visiting as well! Natural for the blog to fall to the side when you’re spending every moment with family :)
