White Rabbit

The White Rabbit Gallery in Chippendale has been on my list for ages and I’m so glad we finally made it! In the first picture behind me stands Bai Yiluo’s Spring and Autumn 1, and the other artwork here is Ai Weiwei’s porcelain Sunflower Seeds. Every single one of them (500kgs worth!) were individually sculpted and painted by hand. I’m not the biggest fan of Chinese contemporary art but often find myself persuaded by the sheer amount of work that goes into creating these pieces. Tenacity seems to be a recurring theme here! Sorry about the grumpy face - I think at that point I’ve just realised the sunflower seeds were not to be eaten…

How’s the cashmere blend on the skin? I find that the extra fine merino can get itchy without Heattech in between; is the cashmere softer?

I don’t have the merino so I can’t compare but this one feels fine - I wore it here without a second layer. I kind of dig the loose fit which probably helps as it’s not hugging you the whole time!
