"One fine day"

Ever get that feeling as you slowly come to consciousness and the realization that you're late, where your mind tells you to go back to bed, that it's pointless to get up and face the music?

Well, I told that voice to shut up today and ran for the bus stop with a container of yogurt in my backpack and 5 minutes to spare, HAH!

Doodled in mass media; couldn't help but think they should rename the course Conspiracy Theories 235 instead. Took off half an hour ahead so that I could go back and work on my medieval romance quiz before class. Bumped into Jorge while waiting for the bus, and we talked about school and priorities throughout what was usually a boring journey. He gave some pretty interesting insights, and it was such a pity that we didn't have more time to yak. Must get him and Gurkche out for lunch or something one day!

Finished my quiz with plenty of time to spare, so I started cleaning the kitchen when Shahnon called. That guy never fails to put a smile on my face, and he (lucky bugger that he is) is heading to Europe for a few weeks before graduation. Was so busy talking to him I was almost late for class, eek.

Was stuck at Traill College till almost 9, but it was still light out when I left. Weather's been gorgeous today, except for a short thunderstorm early evening. I was dreading walking to class in the rain, bleh. Thank goodness it stopped an hour before class.

I'm excited *does a little skip and hop!* ;D

Hehe. Not surprising tho, is it? People don't like the idea that they may not make their own decisions and form their own courses of action in a vacuum. All culture and media has a profound effect on the decisions we make as individuals and as a society. Its not a conspiracy if its an assertion out in the open that people are simply naturally not going to want to hear. We are built to naturally deny most assertions that cheapen the concept of free will.

gt: yeah, but it boggles the mind that a course that should be so interesting be twisted into something so cynical (and boring, I might add). Here's hoping things will get better ;P

punky: lol, thanks for the birthday wish! Looking forward to see you, Di and Api this weekend.
