Umm, before I forget. Big birthday shoutouts to Tse Wei, Levin and my 7th aunt :)
Today has been crazy. So many parties, invites, etc, so little time!
Woke up around 1.30 and headed out to Sunway Pyramid Mall with Poh Lin to have lunch; we ate at Genki Sushi. The food was not too bad. After that, the phone calls started pouring in. My cousin Mei Mei wanted to go clubbing at Flux tonight, and she wanted to bring my sister and I along. Next phone call was from Tse Wei, an old high school friend, who was celebrating her 22nd birthday. She was heading to Flux too! To top it off, my cousin Levin (also his birthday! *smacks forehead*) was having a party at his place before he went to Flux. ARGH!! And how could I forget? My friend Yujin was throwing a BBQ party at his place too~! Finally, I headed to Levin's place for dinner and left for home at 10.30pm :P Played mahjong with my aunt (her birthday too y'see) and my cousins till 2am. i'm so happening, me. *cheeky grin*
That;s it; I'm done with Alice Smith, woohooo..~! *jumps around screaming* Threw in an extra hour and worked till 6 clearing everything up. My other boss (not the one I bitch about) bought me flowers and the finance manager bought me cake (aww..). I'll miss some of them, for sure. I met Grace's mom today (Grace was one of the kids in my class when I worked as a TA last year) and it was good to catch up on news, Grace's progress in school, etc. William's (another ex-student of mine ;)) mom gave me her number in Toronto and asked me to call her when I was back; not too sure if I'm gonna take her up on her offer, but hey! :) Oh, and Rosalind's mom thinks it would be cool for me to fly to Calgary and stay with them before I head back to school.. (hmm...). Worth thinking about!
Anyway, I took my family and some aunts and uncles to dinner to celebrate my 7th aunt's birthday. Yummy dinner :) Later headed out with Shean Min to Heng Han's place in USJ; we were lost for a good hour before Heng Han finally drove out to get us, lol. Just chatted and stuff at Han's new pad, was fun. Got home around 1-ish.
Was at my aunt's place in Puchong earlier; she's going for an angiogram (this how you spell it?) this Saturday--heart problems, blah. i'm going to bed.
Just got back from my ice-cream/gossip session with Poh Lin. We talked about everything and anything, eating lots of ice cream on the way *grin* Personally, I don't think too highly of Swensen's ice cream though. Too expensive with an ok taste. I prefer Baskin Robbin's; at least there I know I'm getting my money's worth, and the ice cream is delicious :P
Today has got to rank right up there with the other stinky days in my life, and I'm not speaking of this literally :P Two more days to go and I'm outta there, w00t! :)
I'm gonna go for ice-cream with Poh Lin in a hour, yay!

This is hilarious; I looked to my right while logging online, and what do I see but a kid no more than 14 (perhaps?) jumping up and down what I presume to be his bed, doing some serious head-banging nonsense *roflmao* I am so mean, lol. I popped open the window, expecting to hear music, but nope, zilch. This kid is either wearing headphones or he's psycho :P and he's my NEIGHBOUR, gaah!!
Worked from 7.30 till 6 today; 3 more days to go and I'm officially unemployed, woohoo!! Ah, my neighbour's lights went off; his parents probably caught on.. (I'm so nosy.. *sheepish grin*).ANYway, just received a nice e-mail from Heather (I know I know, I should write back; I'm sorry I never do :P You'll just have to settle for my rants and raves..I pity your innocent ears, lol *wink*) Hey, I just whipped off a reply; yay. No e-mails from Tiff till I get back now :)
Back to my boring life; was with my dad at the shop till 8.30, before I headed to another mall with Audrey to try and get my books. Damnit, still zilch. Methinks I gotta head to Bangsar or Megamall as a last resort. Mm, we headed to Ikea and bought a lazyman chair for my dad for RM200. And before i forget, my cousin Levin gave me a call saying he wanted the phone back. Don't you just love people like that? Anyway, he changed his mind 10 minutes later, but we'll see what happens. Worst case scenario? I go phone shopping next week with my paycheck. Now how bad is that? :)
Funny. For the first time in 4 1/2 weeks, I didn't give a damn about my work. Anything new which came my way was slotted into my "In" box and left there for tomorrow. I helped Esther hang up some deco and stuff and basically wasted my time in the office today, aside from all my typing that is. Left work close to 6. Headed to Subang Parade with my sister later to get some books. I was looking forward to buying "Bridget Jones' Diary" and selected works of Kafka and Austen but no such luck; all sold out. I'll be heading to a different mall tomorrow to get em I guess.
I'm in a better mood now; I think my rantings were due largely to lack of sleep and stress. Anyway, surprisingly enough, I wrote a poem which was totally light-hearted and stuff today. I called it Fantasia; it's about a fantasy-world where all my favourite cartoon and comic book characters (and some not so favourite, but popular ones all the same) mingle and live together. Reading it cheers me up to no end, and yes sooks, I love that Timon and Pumbaa line too *grin*

You know what? I don't know wtf is wrong with me. All those months in .ca, I was dying to come home, see friends and family and all that shit. And hey, I'm back home. boom. I wanna leave again. I mean, what kind of shit is this anyhoo? I wanna say i'm going through my mid-life crisis, but godammit, I'm only 20. What #$&#& crisis are we talking about?! I'm feeling angry, frustrated, mad; in short, I think I'm going crazy. And the sweetest part? Nobody fu#$&$%*& cares. And to top it off? I don't seem to fu%&#$*$^ care either. This post of filled with expletives, so just skip it if you don't wanna read this shit. Sigh. I need a break from this break.
It's 2.30am and I'm still awake. This #$^&#&* sucks :(
Yay, I now have pink streaks, wooo..~! And the best part? My blue streak has now turned purple, mwahahaha.
That aside, I finally watched Moulin Rouge; omg, it's got a lame story line, but it's a fantastic show all the same. Ewan McGregor sings like a dream! *drools* *grin* Also watched Bridget Jones' Diary and What Women Want. As usual, Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt are fantastic. A predictable movie, but still a nice show.
Went for a mamak session with Shean Min, Kevin, Nick, Poh Lin, Heng Han (he's back from Aussie) and Norman. Cho dai dee'd just like old times :) Got home around 11-ish. I'm going to bed now.
Just finished colouring Audrey's hair a nice shade of pink, mm. Will see how it turns out tomorrow. If it's good, then by golly my hair's gonna be pink too *grin* The last colouring's all faded and ugly now y'see.
Kai woke me up at 10 *growls* It was good to chat with him for a bit I guess. Anyway, went back to sleep and Levin woke me up around 1. Julienne came to lepak with me today. I baked another batch of brownies before Levin showed up with my phone, mwahaha. Yeap, my cousin bought me a cell phone from Australia *big grin* I am sooooooooo happy! ;))
Anyway, went to my parents shop for a lil while in the evening. Nothing much happening I guess.

Mm, so much for sleep *grin* Was supposed to go for a drink with Jan Ee and Ervan, but Audrey wanted to take me out. Ironically, it was mom who insisted I went along, so hey, I went clubbing with my sister, cousins and their friends at this funky place called "The Beach Club" in downtown KL. The sucky thing which happened? 2 guys accosted me; ugh. These guys have absolutely no taste, my god! They must have been bloody drunk. My cousins' theory is that I looked like a lost kid :P Bah.
I really liked the music, hip hop and old school, yay! Unfortunately, at around 1am they started to play techno crap so we left around 1.30. Headed for some mamak food in Puchong before coming home. Just got back not too long ago, in fact. I'm gonna go get me some sleep.

Ah, got tonnes of work out of the way today. It's weekend, ooh yeahhh :) not like I'm goin' out or anything, it just means I get to catch up on my sleep. :)

Mm, I can feel the onslaught of PMS coming. Bloody pissed off at a lot of things today, one of them including my boss being a tree-killer when she makes me print the same $#^@#%&! minutes for the 17th time because of a single word change. Motherofgod, is it so bloody hard to run through the whole thing, make the changes, be satisfied, THEN ask me to print the fu%^(*$%! piece out?!
The only good thing about today was going out for a break with my old college buddies. Just a few of us; Shean Min, Poh Lin, Norman, James and Nick. It was hilarious, the guys were so bloody funny, lol. Topics ranged from bra-sizes (ala Lara Croft of Tomb Raider; "What's the difference between 36C and 36DD?" Yeah, you try explaining that to a couple of dorks who asked the question for kicks in the first place!) to our upcoming trip to Genting to a myriad of other stuff. I love these guys to bits; they make me laugh so hard I cry :)
Bad thing? Came home only to be jumped by my bloody dog; #$^#& took me 15 minutes to open the damn door coz he was all over me. :(
As you can see, I'm PMS-ing bad. So take yer cue and stay away :P
Ah, work was ok today. Not that great, but not that bad either. We celebrated a belated father's day with my dad by heading to a seafood restaurant for dinner, yum. Sweet and sour crabs, oohhhh.!! :) Anyways, outta here.
Word up! :) It was raining heavily this morning, so I was late for work. Things weren't that great; found out that I screwed up somewhere or rather, but let's not talk about it. Good news is that I received my first pay check today, woohoo!! Can't wait for July and my holiday trips with my college buddies and seperate trips with dad.
Let's see, yesterday I baked super-wicked chocolatey extra fudgey brownies for my sister and my colleagues in the office. Had dinner with my family before heading out for a yumcha session with Shean Min and Shao Yi (just to discuss holiday plans). It was fun.
Was at work till 5.30 today before heading to the shop. Got home around 9, logged online for a bit before heading out with daddy (just to spend quality time with him). It was nice. :)
Anyways, bed time for me.

At work till 6.15pm yesterday; this sucks :( Got caught in a traffic jam on my way home; didn't get back till almost 8.Had a fantastic dinner with sooks, Azuan and Sue Ann though. We went to this lil korean bbq place in Bangsar; was fun. We spent some time in Coffee Bean too, before leaving at around 11.
Audrey woke me up today; she was on the phone and was so bloody loud I think even my neighbours heard her :P Was supposed to bake with sooks, but we scratched our plans off later. Headed to my parents' shop and was there till 9, then it was dinner with my unc and aunt before I came home to an empty house (everyone's out, including parents). Guess it's just me and the dogs...
Ah, today was a very productive; got tonnes of work out of the way. As of today, over RM18 000 has slipped through my fingers, ahh..wish it were mine, lol. Bleah, can you imagine me working in a bank? All that money, sobs.. ahaha. don't mind me; lack of sleep does things to you :P
Was tired yesterday, so I didn't post anything. There's nothing to post about anyway, besides my on and off contributions to devart. I've been getting about 4 hours sleep a day; not good. I look like a panda (and to think I thought I'd lose the eyebags once I left school for the summer..!!). Yeah right, lol. Work is work; no change in the situation, 'cept for the fact that my boss accidently let it slip that I was doing work for 2 people, not 1. Which pretty much explains why I only have a 15 minute break in a 10 hour day. Hrm. I should ask for a raise, lol.

That aside, baked 2 orange cakes with sooks before heading to daddy's shop. Was there for a couple of hours, got home, took a shower and went out with Azuan, Lisa and Sue. We met Jan Ee, Wyn Nie, Elaine and some other people there before we took off 1/2 hour later (Sue's mom wanted her home asap). And now, I'm sitting in front of my pc staring at the screen :P

Ooh, I just realized quite belatedly that out of all my grades Classical Lit was the best result. I'm really pleased about it, simply coz Classical Lit was my favourite course, but I wasn't doing that well by my mid-term. Guess I aced the exam after all *big grin*
Umm, didn't (or couldn't) sleep; went to work feeling like crap. Finished everything asap and left Alice Smith @ 12 to see me doctor. Fell asleep in mom and dad's shop; only saw the doc at 4 :P I'm officially down with the flu and have a lousy sore throat to boot. Whatever.
I wrote two new poems last night; Rainbow was basically a challenge to myself; wrote the poem using all of the alphabet. I was also kinda fed up with my dark, dreary and cynical self, so I decided to write about something semi-surreal instead. As for Dream, I mentioned before my sleepless night which was spent reading cheesy romance novels (yeahyeah, laugh!) and after going through about 6 books, all the happy-ever-afters (which I know in real life is bloody non-existent) made me want to write about something positive for a change. You gotta give these cheesy romance novels some credit; they're always optimistic and shit :)
OK, I didn't go to work :P I was bloody tired and I'm on the verge of coming down with the flu, so I stayed home and slept for 15 hours *grin* Lazy me. Blah. Anyway, the good news is that I received my results today, and although I didn't do as well as I wanted to it was enough for me to keep my award from school *cheers* And this is turn means lunch/dinner for Sue, unca Azuan, sooks and myself *grin* Wahey, didn't screw up that badly after all *smirk*
Yah, was late for work today *sheepish grin* Only by 15 minutes, so don't give me dirty looks :P I was fed up to the back of my teeth working like a dog for the office, and realized quite belatedly that damnit, I don't have to make myself miserable for some temporary job. As such, I vow from today onwards to do what I can, when I can, and to hell with everything else :P (Heck, if they could put up with a dude who was always late and did half the work I did, they can bloody well put up with me thank you very much!).
Anyway, sooks picked me up from school today at 4.30 and since we both had time on our hands, we decided to head to TGIF for an early dinner. It was neat.

Hmm...Yi Kai called earlier--bugged him as usual before making plans for July; the gang's taking a week off and we're making some travel plans; I can't wait! Played with me dogs today; they're sooooo cute! Argh, the only bad news is that mom wants to sell Joshi, our cocker spaniel. sigh.
*yawn* I'm still sleepy, yes? :) Yesterday was fun. Azuan called and woke me up at 11 to have lunch at Sue's place in KL (doesn't this sound like .ca where you girls always woke me up for food? *rofl*). We were there till around 3 before I headed to my parents' shop (as usual) to spend time with them. Had a nap :P
Later that night, went for a mamak session with Shean Min, Sharon, Shao Yi and her boyfriend Guru. It was just like old times, with Sharon and her explicitly perverted jokes and Shao Yi's blurness *grin* Shean Min was a bit quiet; I take it he's a bit stressed out about exams coming up and stuff.
Sharon was staying over, and at the last minute Shao Yi decided she wanted to do the same so that we could have our "girl-talk" thing. Which was fine with me! We left the mamak stalls at around 12.30, got home and proceeded to chat till about 2.30. We were hungry, and decided to bake a cake in the middle of the night, lol. We watched "The Emperor's New Groove" (my fave show of the moment) while the cake was in the oven. Had a slice each (Sharon had 2), a vodka orange each and basically chatted till about 7am before we finally went to bed.
Woke up several times, but I finally dragged my ass out of bed at 2, lol. Joseph was here to pick Sharon up; they're heading to 1 Utama (a shopping complex). Shao went with them cos Joseph's sending her home. Received e-mails from Becca and Sarah, yay! Poor Sarah isn't feeling all that great; here's crossing my fingers she'll be better soon. Becca thinks I'm nuts for not getting drunk when I had the chance :P *rofl* sorry Becca; it just wasn't the time *grin*
Before I forget; how did you guys do in the finals? I hope everyone did well; I know Miranda and Kayla are pretty pleased with their final grade, which I'm really glad. As for me, I'm still waiting on pins and needles; here's hoping I didn't screw up my year! Hey Therese, hope all things are well with ya in Yellowknife!

omg, it's been a crazy day. Was up till 2 last night playing mahjong (some chinese gambling game) with my cousins. Had spent a couple of hours before that with my parents at their shop after work.
Slept for 12 hours straight (according to my sis, I swore at her at around 10 because she was being loud :P). Anyway, Levin called from Aussie and we had a nice long chat. Played mahjong with my mom, aunt and cousin for god knows how many hours and baked a cake in between, lol.
might go out tomorrow; I'm still undecided. Oh, and Sharon's in town, so she'll be staying over at my place tomorrow, yay!

Hah, I'm finally logging in from work, lol. This is so pathetic; there are about 10 pcs in the office, but only 1 miserable one is connected to the Internet, via dialup at that. One would think that a prestigious and bloody expensive school like Alice Smith would be hooked online! $^@&&@#%@#!*!!! *sigh* Anyway, can't make a habit of this; most of my colleagues are on leave for the long weekend, thus my access to this 'puter. Come Monday and I'll be barred from it again :(
Anywayz, nothing much has happened besides overworking every day. Spoke to sooks and Asha online yesterday; I miss these two (although fuzz is 1/2 an hour away and Asha in in India, lol). Hey Kayla, if you're reading this, I've got a present for you from my dad :P Hopefully be baking tomorrow with sooks; will see how things go.
