I can’t believe how fast this year has come to pass.. well maybe I can. I think the perception of how long a year is relative to the total amount of time you’ve been alive. A 5 year old waiting for his next birthday, for example, a year must seem like the longest: 20% of his entire lifetime. At 32, a year is approximately 3% - relatively small amount of time in comparison. Does this mean that the years will come to pass even quicker as we age? Maybe just the perception of it, because as we all know time is a constant.. anyway..

2013 has been another amazing year for me, partly due to this blog. It’s nice having a creative outlet to share my outfits and inspirations, and constantly having the opportunity to learn and discover new ideas, trends and brands, and for W and I having reasons to shoot more often and improve our photography despite not being able to travel as much as we’d like this year - and not to mention all the the lovely people I’ve met because of it. So thank YOU for a wonderful year!

    Don’t know why, but the middle outfits all seem to be my fave of the 3 on each line, haha! Middle one, third from the bottom is my absolute favourite though if I had to pick :) that top just layers so perfectly with the maxi.

    Interesting thoughts about why the years seem to fly by too - 2013 has been a very fast year and I have no doubt 2014 will be too.

    I always struggle with that whole perception of time thing too, the years seem to be zooming by recently & I just want them to slow down & be like those summer holidays that felt like a lifetime when I was 10! It’s scary how fast I find myself saying ‘wow, another year’ again. The worst is when you think of movies/albums/games that you think of as being new-ish & then going ‘2004… oh wait, that was 10 years ago now… !’
    I think my favourite 3 are Onyx, Crop Out & Equine, it’s hard to pick my single favourite from those though, they are all so nice & I’m still super jealous of the Theyskens Theory boots!

    Happy belated new year to you Stephanie! I got abducted by friends over the last few days and have only just scraped back home - phew. And yes, what a wise observation - time does start to gallop instead of canter as you get older - think how I feel!!! I was just going through the outfits and too many to mention but the standout ones for me have to be One Martin, Red Head and Feels Like Spring. I’m looking forward to 2014’s offerings from you and W - you’ve got one helluva photographer on tap there :o)
